Through the cooperation with colleges and universities in countries with developed and advanced vocational education, we comprehensively introduce the theoretical and practical courses, idea of applied talents cultivation, mechanism of industry-education integration, etc. Chinese and overseas institutions will mutually recognize credits, jointly cultivate talents with solid foundation of knowledge, practical ability and workplace competency who conform to the requirements of industry and society development. At the same time, through cooperative projects or other channel, YGL provides students with access to further education in overseas universities at bachelor and master level.
The program introduces the undergraduate courses and the regulatory system for the quality of teaching from the cooperated disciplines of overseas universities into domestic universities. Both universities jointly cultivate students within the program, mutually recognize courses and credits, collectively set teaching requirements and corporately assume teaching duties. When students complete study in China and meet admission requirements for overseas university, they can apply to continue their study at a foreign partner university for one year. Students passing all the exams can receive degree from both domestic and foreign universities. Alternatively students can also choose to continue study in domestic universities and obtain qualification from Chinese university.
The program fully introduces the master courses and the regulatory system for the quality of teaching from the cooperated disciplines of overseas universities into domestic universities. Both universities jointly cultivate students in the program, mutually recognize courses and credits, collectively set teaching requirements, and corporately assume teaching duties. Students who complete required courses and meet relevant graduation requirements will be awarded Master’s degree from Chinese and/or overseas university.
The pre-master’s program is designed for students who would like to go to the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and other countries to study for a master’s degree. Students will study 0.5-1 year of professional English and preparatory courses of their majors, before starting the formal study of the master's degree program, to comprehensively improve their language level, studying skills, research ability and understanding of subject knowledge, so as to lay a solid foundation for the formal study of the master-level courses. It is also a bridge course which wholly improves students' academic standards and comprehensive competence.
The summer school provides students with opportunity to spend a rich and colorful summer vacation around the world. Students entering the program can not only receive academic courses of top universities on weekdays, but also participate in a variety of cultural activities and excursions on weekends. The program can greatly broaden the international horizons of students, help them gain valuable experience in different education systems, so as to improve students' abilities of independent learning and self-caring.
The cooperation between domestic and overseas universities is conducted in specified majors with an agreement of Credits/Articulation recognition. Chinese students will firstly enter the program, and after studying at the domestic university for two to three years, they can choose to study at overseas university for one or two years. Students who pass all the exams can obtain a bachelor's degree from both Chinese and overseas universities and an undergraduate diploma from the university in China.
