Recently, the grand opening of the 2023 'Silk Road' Educational Cooperation and Exchange Conference which was sponsored by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department was held in the city of Xi'an. Mr. Wang Xiao, a Standing Committee member of Shaanxi Province and the Executive Vice Governor of the Provincial People's Government, Mr. Zhang Xiaodong, the Level II Bureau Rank Official of the International Department of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Medetbek Bukuev, the advisor to the President of Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Liu Kai, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government and other leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony. On the opening ceremony, the leaders and guests together witnessed and participated in the unveiling ceremony of 9 international cooperation institutions. The 'China-Greece Qinling Workshop' was also officially established. The Qinling Workshop was initiated by YGL and the Hellenic Vocational and Technical Education Development Association. The first Qinling Workshop is jointly built by Orizon Vocational and Technical Training College, Kalamata, Greece and Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Economics. Zhang Xiaodong expressed that Shaanxi, as a strategic beachhead of China's opening up to the west, has coordinated high-quality resources at home and abroad and continuously promoted its efforts of opening-up, which received remarkable results. We hope to continue to develop an international exchange and cooperation system with local characteristics, introduce foreign high-quality educational resources, give full play to the resource advantages of the existing alliance platform, build an all-dimensional, multi-level and wide-range educational cooperation and exchange channel, accelerate the construction of a diversified and interactive cultural exchange pattern, and promote the great opening up, exchange and integration of regional education.

The 'China-Greece Qinling Workshop' is a representative demonstration project of international cooperation between Chinese and Greek vocational colleges created by YGL in coordination with the Hellenic Vocational and Technical Education Development Association. The project has been highly praised and recognized by the Education Department of Shaanxi Province and has also been widely concerned and reported by mainstream media in both China and Greece. In the future, YGL will integrate more international high-quality resources to assist domestic colleges and universities to make more contributions in standard curriculum certification, professional system outsourcing, internship and training as well as the construction of overseas workshops and branch campuses.
