After a month of preparation and coordination under YGL' effort, on October 24, 2023, a team of external committee organized by C.Y.Q.A.A (Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation) successfully visited Minjiang University to have a thorough assessment to the teaching quality of the on-going programs provided in International Digital Economy College (IDEC), Minjiang University. Representatives from European University Cyprus, the foreign cooperative university, also traveled to China for this purpose. Taking this opportunity, both universties also engaged in extensive discussions and exchanged views on various matters and issues related to the operation of the project since establishment during this visit. The objective of these discussions was to provide feasible solutions for ensuring the sustainable and robust functioning of the project in the future.

Following meticulous deliberations by the external evaluation panel, the evaluation results were recently released, giving high praise for the running programs. The assessment focused on multiple aspects, including the competence of faculty members, the effectiveness of teaching methods, and the overall educational experience provided to students.

The panel commended IDEC for its quality faculty members and praised the university's efforts in providing a conducive learning environment and ample opportunities for students. In terms of teaching quality, the panel observed that the university employed modern teaching techniques into the curriculum. These methods will further provide opportunities for students to engage in practical application of knowledge.

Both EUC and MJU expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the external evaluation and appreciation to YGL's utmost dedication in connection and guidance, arrangement and participation during the whole process. The two universities emphasized their collective determination to further enhance cooperation and collaboration to maintain the academic integrity and quality of their programs.

Looking ahead, the two universities are determined to build upon this positive evaluation and continue their efforts to provide high-quality education to its students.
