At the very beginning of the new year, YGL welcomed the first visit from the overseas university -- Novosibirsk State University(NSU), Russia. On the afternoon of January 10th, the Vice President of Foreign Affairs of NSU, Evgeny Ivanovich Sagaydak, together with the Principal of the Affiliated High School, Nekrasova Lyudmila Andreyevna, visited YGL and conducted cooperation and exchanges. YGL President, CEO, Manager of Cooperative Education Business Department and Heads of relevant departments met with the vice president and his delegation, and held discussions on promoting China-Russia cooperation in running schools and in-depth strategic cooperation.

Evgeny Sagaydak, the Vice President of NSU, introduced the basic information of the university, the 1+4+2 mode program(foundation + undergraduate + postgraduate study), the current situation of cooperative education and the vision of cooperation. He said that YGL has rich experience in cooperative education industry, high-quality cooperative university resources and strategic planning strength for the effectiveness and durability of cooperative projects. He is very looking forward to the in-depth cooperation with YGL, to jointly promote and develop the Sino-foreign cooperative education business and internationalization development process.

The President and CEO of YGL extended a warm welcome to the Vice President and his delegation. They showed the great appreciation to the Vice President for his strong support in the past cooperation process, and proposed to develop customized plans based on the requirements of Novosibirsk State University in the field of cooperation and effectively promotion.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the acceleration of cooperation between NSU and Chinese partner universities, and reached a preliminary consensus on the cooperation model, cooperation disciplines and the promotion. The two sides will take this meeting as an opportunity to further promote exchanges and cooperation between NSU and Chinese universities, expand the level of educational openness, and help NSU reach a new high level of international exchange and cooperation.
