On 14th May 2024, the YGL delegation visited the University of Bolton, U.K. Mr. Paul Starkey, Executive Director of Strategy, Brand and Future Students, Mr. McNeilly Alan, Deputy Director of Strategy, Brand and Future Students and Mr. Hanslot Zubair, Professor of Engineering and Mathematics Department warmly received this visit of YGL.

Professor Zubair introduced that their university is a strong comprehensive public university with a 100-year history and also a member of the Commonwealth Association of Universities, renowned for its rigorous teaching and flexible curriculum. In the recent QAA review, the University of Bolton was awarded the highest grade for teaching quality. The University of Bolton has one of the highest student employment rates of the university in the UK due to its focus on practice and close links with all professional associations.

YGL highly recognized the teaching philosophy and quality of the University of Bolton, and at the same time YGL introduced its basic situation and successful cases, and showed the Chinese cooperation plan prepared for the University of Bolton. The directors of University of Bolton appreciated the achievements of YGL and the cooperation plan, and both parties reached the same points in their cooperation intentions. At the meeting, both parties confirmed the strategic cooperation relationship and had an in-depth discussion on the next step to carry out the work plan for Chinese institutions and students.

After the meeting, the directors of the University of Bolton led YGL visited the campus, in which the automotive engineering laboratory of the University of Bolton was impressive.

During the conversation, both parties expressed great interest and confidence in the future cooperation and development potential, and expected to provide more opportunities for future cooperation, to achieve the combination of strengths and complement each other's advantages.
