On August 2, 2024, facilitated by YGL, an online academic lecture on "3D Digital Visualization" was held by Berkeley College, US and Guilin University of Electronic Technology(GUET). Dr. Marianne Vakalis, Dean of School of Professional Studies and Division of General Education, the related academic professors and Members of Global Alliance of Berkeley College attended the seminar. Professor YE Dehui, Dean of School of Art and Design, and Head and the concerned academic professors of Digital Media Technology Department of GUET participated the activity. Over 100 students, majoring in Digital Media Technology of GUET, enjoyed this academic seminar.

At the beginning of the seminar, Berkeley College briefly introduced the participants and the seminar topics. Dr. Alfonso Torino of Berkeley College gave a fascinating lecture on the concepts, features and benefits of 3D Digital Visualization. Professor Julia Hutchinson led the students to experience the charm of 3D digital visualization from the aspects of practicality and presentation of works. Guilin University of Electronic Technology opened an academic discussion between the professors and teachers of the two universities on the cooperative majors by displaying the students' works.

Through the seminar and academic discussion, all the participants can clearly perceive the professional characteristics of Berkeley College and Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology in 3D digital visualization and digital media technology, as well as the basis for cooperation that can be integrated. The two universities respectively stated that they will strengthen various types of cooperation in the near future. Berkeley College will target to drive and enhance the influence in China, at the same time, Guilin University of Electronic Technology will promote the pace of internationalization development. The two universities will work together to achieve the win-win cooperation.
