On October 13th 2021, YGL's formal delegates paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Antonis Toumazis, the Ambassador of Cyprus to China, and presented him with a traditional Chinese handcraft gift： the Wheat-Straw Painting，crafted by national arts-and-crafts master and the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage， Mr. HE Xingwen.

The meeting is conducive to strengthening cultural exchanges between China and Cyprus, promoting the friendly bonds between cities and regions in the two countries, and building a platform for friendly exchanges in education and culture between China and foreign countries. Both parties talked especially on the initiation of establishing the first Luban workshop in Cyprus, which will facilitate the integration of academic study and industrial production, demonstrating the spirit of craftsmanship of China. May the Luban Workshop be popularized in the world through the Belt and Road Initiative!
