In the first week of March, YGL paid a visit to the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs and met with the President of CPIFA, Mr WANG Chao, who is former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and former Deputy Minister of Commerce of China.

President Wang warmly received the delegation and guided them for a joyful tour throughout the CPIFA. During the visit, YGL reported to President Wang about recent work conducted on facilitating inter-institutional cooperation, and the contribution made to friendly relationship between cities and regions, joint research, humanity and cultural exchange, which are conducted based on the foundation of education cooperation.

President Wang spoke highly of the trials by YGL, the efforts being delivered and achievements made in this phase. It was mentioned in the meeting that, non-governmental exchanges are also playing an important role in the understanding and communication between different cultures around the world.

At the end of the meeting, President Wang expressed his wish that YGL will, despite all the difficulties and obstacles, continuously contribute inspiration and supporting power to the people to people exchange and communication across the border.
