On Sept. 5th, 2022, under YGL's coordination, the first meeting between University of Aberdeen and Fujian Medical University was successfully held online, centering around the topic of conducting the joint training cooperation in master programs. The Directors, Deputy Directors and Professors of the concerned institutes and schools attended the meeting. The relevant project leaders of YGL attended and hosted the meeting.

Representatives from the two universities started by respectively introducing their universities and the schools which are bound to form cooperation so that both parties could have a better understanding of each other's major characteristics and advantages. Then the two parties fully exchanged ideas on exploring in detail the cooperation model, the specific entry requirements, the specific curriculum and assessment methods, scholarships and other cooperation models.

Through this meeting, the two universities reached a preliminary cooperation intention and further in-depth negotiation will be conducted in the future on the specific content of cooperation.
