On October 13th, 2022, under the coordination and arrangement of YGL, the first online virtual meeting between University of Tennessee and Sichuan Agricultural University was successfully held, around the topics of joint talent cultivation cooperation. The Deans, Vice Deans, Professors and Directors of concerned faculties and departments of the two universities attended the meeting. YGL hosted the meeting.

The meeting commenced from representatives introducing universities and potential partner departments respectively, so that both sides had a deeper understanding about the main features and advantages of the two universities. Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth communication on the cooperation model, specific admission requirements, scholarships and other potential cooperation models.

Through this meeting, the two universities reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the joint training projects of the corresponding model, and will further discuss the specific content of cooperation in the near future.
