On Jan. 11th, 2023, under YGL's coordination, the first cooperative meeting between Sault College, Canada and Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology was held online via Tencent meeting.

The participants include the Regional Director of Asia Pacific from Sault College, the Director and the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs, the Deputy Director of General Office and the Officer of International Affairs from Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology. The relevant project members of YGL attended and hosted the meeting.

The meeting started by introducing Sault College Canada and Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology, so that the two sides have a better understanding of each other's professional advantages and hardware facilities, and lay the foundation to build a cooperative joint education program. During the meeting, the two sides also discussed in general about the potential cooperation majors, mode and all-round cooperation. The meeting was ended in a relaxing atmosphere by YGL staff's concluding further issues to be completed.

Through this meeting, the two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention. The signing of MoU will be advanced steadily. The leaders of both sides may also visit each other's campuses in 2023. Further in-depth negotiation will be conducted in the coming days on the specific content of cooperation.
