On September 27, 2023, Prof. Dionysios Mantzavinos, Vice Rector of the University of Patras, and his delegation made a special trip to the Embassy of Greece in China and met with Mr. Evgenios Kalpyris, Ambassador of Greece to China. Prof. Mantzavinos expresses his gratitude to the Ambassador for their support and assistance to the University of Patras in the process of cooperation with Chinese universities. He also presented his heartfelt respect for their great contributions to Greece-China educational and people-to-people exchanges.

Mr. Liu Jiting, Executive Director of the Chinese Research Institute of the University of Patras, also attended the meeting. He introduced about the Institute and expressed the willingness to strive for the mutual learning between China and Greece, promote the cooperation of higher education and people-to people exchanges, and actively contribute to the academic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

With the coming of the Mid-Autumn Festival in China, Mr. Liu sent greetings to the ambassador and his family.
