On November 12, 2023, YGL accompanied SAGAYDAK EVGENY, Vice President of Novosibirsk State University, Russia, and his delegation to Fujian Medical University to visit and exchange ideas for potential cooperation.

During the meeting, FEIFEI SHE, Vice President of Fujian Medical University, warmly welcomed the delegation of YGL as well as Novosibirsk State University and gave a detailed introduction of the university's history, philosophy, characteristics and subject advantages, etc. Then SAGAYDAK EVGENY, Vice Rector of Novosibirsk State University, thanked Fujian Medical University for the warm welcome and expressed his expectation for the establishment of friendship and cooperation between the two universities. SAGAYDAK EVGENY introduced the history of Novosibirsk State University, its characteristics, the achievements in education and scientific research as well as the development status.

Afterwards, YGL and the participants of the two universities carried out extensive and in-depth exchanges on Sino-foreign Cooperation Program, cultivation of talents, scientific research, mutual visits of teachers and students, academic exchanges, and other aspects.

The visit strengthened the partnership between Novosibirsk State University and Fujian Medical University, deepened the further understanding of both sides and promoted the friendship between the two universities.

YGL will play a bigger role in enabling bilateral cooperation, implement the details of cooperation discussed by both sides, and effectively promote the cooperation between the two universities.
