From September 22nd to 29th, Prof. NI Zhiyu, President of HUE led a delegation on an official visit to Greece and Italy accompanied by YGL.

In Greece, the delegation visited two universities: the University of Patras (UP) and Democritus University of Thrace. At UP, they had an official meeting with the Rector Christos I. Bouras, Vice-rectors Dionissios Mantzavinos and Ioannis A. Venetis, as well as faculty members from the School of Economics & Business Administration. Rector Bouras warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his wishes for promoting collaboration between the two universities.

The meeting between UP and HUE focused on the potential collaboration of establishing an HUE Campus within UP. With YGL's continuous support and guidance throughout the process, both parties showed great interest in this new form of cooperation and discussed various details. They decided to enter into a strategic partnership and conduct a variety of cooperation projects, which they hoped would set a model for Greece-China cooperation in the field of higher education.

At Democritus University of Thrace, the delegation met with Rector Fotios Maris, Vice Rector Maria Grigoriou, and faculty members from the Department of Eclectic and Computer Engineering. Both parties signed a MoU and agreed to explore potential cooperation in the areas of joint programs and scientific research.

On Sep 27th and 28th, the delegation visited the Rome University of Fine Arts at the invitation of Plena Education. Professor Andrea Tosi, Head of International Relations at Plena Education, warmly welcomed the delegation and led them on a tour of the beautiful campus. In the subsequent meeting, both sides discussed the possibilities of teacher and student exchanges, as well as jointly organizing academic conferences and seminars. In particular, they reached an agreement to organize a student summer camp in the next July.
