On October 21st to 23rd, 2024, YGL accompanied the delegation of Beihua University to visit Novosibirsk State Technical University in Russia. The delegation led by Yang Hongxiu, the Vice President of Beihua University and Wang Guang, the Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department at Beihua University, received a warm welcome from NSTU. Anatoliy Bataev, the President of NSTU, Vadim Nekrasov, the Director of International Affairs of NSTU and other academic leaders had in-depth exchanges with the leaders of Beihua University on establishing friendly cooperative relationships between the two universities.

Both parties introduced the history, development, research platforms and teams of their respective universities and reached an agreement on cooperation and joint training in the field of education. The meeting delved into the specific details of cooperation, including the establishment of a Sino-Russian Joint Education Center, promoting two-way exchanges between Chinese and Russian students, exchanging visiting scholars, customizing short-term courses for students from both universities during winter and summer vacations. After the meeting, the delegation also toured the laboratories & departments of Novosibirsk State Technical University and went to the museum ‘Time Corridor’ to experience the unique Russian culture.

The visit of Beihua University to Novosibirsk State Technical University has yielded fruitful results, not only strengthening the cooperation and exchange between the two universities in the field of education, but also providing broader learning and development opportunities for students from both sides, which is of great significance for improving the education quality and internationalization level of both universities.
