On May 27, 2025, accompanied by YGL, Professor Christophoros Nikou, Director of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina, Greece, visited the School of Computer Science and Technology of Beihua University.

First, the Dean gave Professor Nikou a detailed introduction to the university's history, educational philosophy, as well as the achievements the school has made in scientific research and talent cultivation. Subsequently, Professor Nikou also shared the development course, characteristic programs of the University of Ioannina, Greece and his own scientific research achievements, laying a foundation for further cooperation between the two sides.

During the exchange session, Professor Nikou conducted in-depth discussions with teachers and students of the school, covering topics such as academic research and postgraduate training. After the meeting, Professor Nikou visited the school's student innovation and practice base. He spoke highly of the school's efforts in scientific research facilities and cultivation of innovation capabilities, and encouraged students to continue to maintain their enthusiasm for scientific exploration.

This visit is not only an important academic exchange between universities, but also a significant step in promoting international educational cooperation. The School of Computer Science and Technology looks forward to carrying out broader and deeper cooperation with the University of Ioannina, Greece in the future, to jointly promote the cultivation of computer talents and scientific research in related fields.

Professor Christophoros was invited by YGL to attend THE 23rd CHINA INTERNATIONAL TALENT EXCHANGE CONFERENCE in Guangzhou. This conference is a large-scale international talent exchange event held by China’s first-class universities such as South China University of Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications under the guidance and support of the government.
